Rin looked nodded at the older male but at Prince Saeki’s words, the blond just ended up looking confused. Was what Prince Saeki did a good thing or a bad thing?
‘Humans are so complicated.’ he thought as Prince Saeki said that it was tie to eat, just as the bell chimed 7 times. Rin perked up at the mention of food, eyes widening in childlike fascination. For a teenager his age, he sure did get excited over the simplest things… Nevermind the fact that to a dragon, Rin would still be considered little more than a youngling.
Fuji shook his head, “No I’m not covering for you…” He sighed, giving up on showing Saeki that he wasn’t disgusted, quite the opposite. “Food sounds good, come here Rin.” He held his hand and let Saeki lead them towards the dinning hall.
They arrived in front of the twin wooden doors, Saeki pulls open one of them. Letting them go in first before him as a gentleman’s courtesy, “You two first.”
The huge dining hall was filled with princes and princesses from all over the country, mingling with one another. Various of fine cuisines and exquisite drinks are served in buffet style. A live band plays music from the background as a warm up for the dance later, waiters in black offers them appetizers (finger food). Everything, everyone is so flashy, sparkly extravagant as the host of the gathering.
”Am I the only that seems to be seeing sparkles here?..”
