Rin stiffened slightly at the older prince’s words. He bit his lower lip awkwardly, looking up at his brother before letting out a soft, sigh.
“I’m afraid that won’t be possible Prince Saeki.” he started, voice small and somewhat awkward. “My mother passed away after I was born. I haven’t seen her or known what she looked like until I came to be with Shu nii-chan.” he ended but smiled slightly.
“Nii-chan said I act a lot like her though so I guess I can be happy and content with that at least.”
Rin’s expression stabbed at Fuji’s chest and he gave the quiet boy a kiss on the forehead, “She’s be so proud to see what a wonderful son you turned out to be. There wasn’t one day she didnt talk about how much she wanted to see you…” Fuji looked up at Saeki, “And dont feel bad about mentioning it Saeki, we know your intentions were sincere and we are touched.”
Saeki gasped when he heard that Prince Rin’s mother was dead already. It was insensitive of him, but he didn’t know, he felt bad about it. Even though Prince Fuji said he doesn’t need to. Lowering his head, looking at the ground he apologized.”I’m sorry, I did not know… But like what your brother said. Your mother is sure proud of her son. She is always with you, alive in your memories and most importantly in your heart.”
There was a moment of silence until loud voices breaks the ice.”Prince Fuji!” “Prince Rin!” “Prince Saeki!” “Where are you?!” Saeki perks up his head towards where the sounds came from. Three royal guards were sent out to look for the missing princes. The guards splits up to search for them. “Hm? I wonder why is she looking for us.”
